The story follows Pamma, a young man from Punjab whose ambition to find a better life abroad leads him into a dangerous trap. After being misled by fraudulent travel agents, Pamma finds himself on an illegal journey through the dense jungles of several South and Central American countries, including Ecuador, Panama, and Guatemala, before reaching Mexico.
