The story begins when the evil spirit (the Boogeyman) launches an assault on Earth, intending to replace children's hopes and dreams with fear. To stop him, the Moon chooses a new Guardian: Jack Frost , a lonely spirit of winter who has no memory of his past and is invisible to humans because no one believes in him.
