The movie revolves around Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson), a former CIA operative who has retired to spend more time with his estranged daughter, Kim (Maggie Grace). When Kim calls her father for help, Bryan springs into action, using his unique set of skills to track down her kidnappers and rescue her.
