Released in August 2023, Blue Beetle tells the story of recent college graduate Jaime Reyes (Xolo Maridueña). Returning home to Palmera City, he is accidentally bonded to an ancient relic of alien biotechnology called the Scarab. The Scarab gives him a high-tech exoskeleton capable of incredible weapons and flight, turning him into the superhero Blue Beetle.
