The Kargil segment is the film’s centerpiece. The cinematography by Tushar Kanti Ray places viewers inside the cockpit of a Chetak helicopter, navigating narrow valleys with enemy fire from above. One of the most harrowing sequences shows Saxena landing on a slanted mountaintop (a “helipad” the size of a car) to rescue a bleeding soldier while bullets ricochet off the rocks.
