This release uses the Blu-ray (BD) source for Code Geass R2 , which is a significant upgrade over the original TV broadcast. The image is crisp, colors are vibrant, and there’s noticeably less banding or compression artifact than DVD versions. AnimeOnlineNinja did a competent encode – 1080p, good bitrate, no weird cropping.
