The film takes place after the events of the fourth installment, On Stranger Tides. The story follows Henry Turner (Brenton Thwaites), the son of Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley), who teams up with Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) to break the curse that binds his father.
